FEES, REBATES, AND PAYMENT OPTIONS
Individual adult therapy sessions are 50 minutes long.
The Australian Psychological Society’s recommended fee for a psychological consultation is currently $280.00. However, at Mindsight Psychology, I want to make therapy as accessible and affordable as possible. Therefore, my fees from 1st July 2024 are as follows:

* Eligibility to claim a Medicare rebate requires a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP or Psychiatrist, along with a referral letter. The Medicare rebate can then be claimed for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Please see your GP to discuss your potential eligibility further.
** This rate is available to holders of a Commonwealth concession card, which must be produced at the first session.
If paying for your sessions privately (i.e. without a Medicare rebate), no referral is necessary. In this instance, some private health funds offer a partial rebate for the cost of psychological consults. Please check with your provider, prior to your session, to enquire about your level of cover.
The session fee is payable on the day via EFTPOS, MasterCard or Visa, or cash (if correct change tendered).
